VIRTUAL THERAPY

What is it?

Virtual therapy is when your session happens either online through a secure video platform, or over the phone. 

​

I know this is unsettling for many of you so I wanted to take the opportunity to share some of the benefits of online therapy and clarify some potential concerns. Please reach out if you have further questions or concerns.

Effective

It may come as a surprise to you but virtual therapy has been proven to be just as effective as in person therapy. We are able to use the same tools and modalities and able to connect in much the same way as in person.

Convenient

There is no time wasted on commuting to my office and being stuck in traffic. You can more easily fit in a session based on your schedule and availability.

Secure

The platform I use for video is compliant with the standards required for sharing private health information virtually. It also means that no one can see you coming and going from my office and no risk of meeting another client at the door.

Comfortable

You are able to access your therapy sessions from the comfort of your home, office, car, or perhaps even sitting on a bench in the park or on a walk in the woods.
